Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for the flamingos that reside in the lake. In the rainy season, they congregate in flocks of thousands along the lake’s periphery, but their presence diminishes in the dry season.

Comprehensive archaeological investigations have produced a substantial array of evidence about human evolution and human-environment interactions, including early hominid footprints that are around 3.6 million years old.
