Serengeti National Park Entry Fees 2025 – 2026
Serengeti National Park Entry Fees, the entrance fees for Serengeti National Park are administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority, while the wildlife reserves are overseen by the Wildlife Division of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
Entrance fees for Serengeti National Park are paid at the entry gate upon arrival. A smart card system has been implemented, allowing users to prepay funds that are loaded into a card, which is then presented at the park entrance.
Fees for Serengeti National Park are payable by credit card only, not cash. Prepayments must be made at the bank in Arusha, after which you will receive a serial number to present to the park officials. Any individual may purchase a smart card at any CRDB branch using either United States dollars or Tanzanian shillings. Park entrance permits are priced on a per person, per day basis, valid for 24 hours, and vary according to the visitor’s domicile and age. Visitors must present proof of identity at the gate; the cost, once paid, is non-refundable and does not encompass varied activities within the national park.
