While on our All inclusive 6-days Serengeti Tarangire Ngorongoro national park, you will appreciate the stunning landscapes as you immerse yourself in Africa’s breathtaking nature and wildlife.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a journey to Arusha for relaxation and an overnight stay at Planet Lodge or Pazuri Inn.
Day 2: Journey to Tarangire National Park – Wildlife Safari
Following a complete breakfast, you will check out of your accommodations and proceed to Tarangire National Park for a half-day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest national park is renowned for its magnificent baobab trees that punctuate the terrain, overshadowing the fauna that grazes beneath them. The Tarangire River is the focal point of this park, renowned for hosting some of the greatest elephant herds in Africa. This location features lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffalo, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. The evening stay will be at Tarangire Simba Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti – Evening Safari
Following breakfast, we proceed to Serengeti National Park, traversing the picturesque elevated farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Departing from the highlands, we descend into the core of untamed Africa — Serengeti National Park – characterized by its vast grasslands extending infinitely into the horizon. We proceed to the Seronera area, a central region renowned for its abundant wildlife, characterized by the Seronera River, which serves as a crucial water source, hence attracting a diverse array of animals emblematic of the Serengeti. We arrive punctually for lunch and partake in an afternoon wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park, followed by an overnight stay at Into Wild Africa Luxury Camp.
Day 4: Comprehensive wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will engage in a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, with lunch at a designated picnic location along the way. Seasonally, you may have the opportunity to observe the grand migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson’s gazelles. In the minor rainy season of October and November, herds often migrate from the Kenyan Maasai Mara across the northwest of the Serengeti to the southern plains. Following the extensive wet season in April, May, and June, the herds gradually migrate back through the western and northwestern regions of the Serengeti. Variations in precipitation may alter this schedule, leading to changes in the timing and pathways of animal migrations. Your guide will endeavor to locate the animals and ensure that you observe them from the optimal vantage point on this Serengeti National Park safari. The journey inherently draws predators, and with fortune, one may witness a kill in progress. Subsequently, you will return to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay at Into Wild African Luxury Camp.
Day 5: Travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a wildlife drive.
Following breakfast at dawn, you will commence your early departure from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, departing from the picturesque Seronera Valley. Predators exhibit more activity during the colder hours of the day, making it possible to observe them in action. Lunch will be consumed at a specified picnic location during transit. Upon arriving at the crater’s rim, the 19 km diameter caldera reveals itself in all its breathtaking splendor, and you will go on a daring descent into the crater via a rugged path. This World Heritage Site seasonally hosts about 25,000 creatures, encompassing a diverse array of birds, hyenas, and the “Big Five”: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and leopard. Departing the crater by an alternate ascending route, we will thereafter proceed to the rural resort for supper and overnight accommodations.
Day 6: Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park – Transfer to the airport.
Upon entering the national park, verdant forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees establish the ambiance for what lies ahead. The game drive will continue until dark, with a brief intermission for a picnic lunch. During the wildlife drive, be vigilant for buffalo, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. Another attraction of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree-climbing lions; nevertheless, encountering them is a matter of chance. During the appropriate season, the shoreline transforms into a pink hue due to the presence of millions of congregating flamingos.
Subsequently, you will either travel to Arusha for an overnight stay or proceed directly to the airport for your trip.
