During this 5-day tour of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park, you will explore four parks situated in Tanzania, an area that has maintained its pristine nature on the old African continent. We will explore Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its high density of baboons. The alkaline waters of Lake Manyara are adorned by pink-feathered flamingos. Tarangire is renowned for possessing one of the greatest elephant populations in Africa. The Serengeti evokes visions of adventure, striking terrain, and thrilling fauna. The Ngorongoro Crater is referred to as ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden.’

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

You will leave Arusha in the morning and go to Tarangire National Park, where you can witness the vastness of the abandoned termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. The immense herds of African elephants inhabit the golden grasslands, while the piercing calls of the vibrant yellow-collared lovebird resonate from great distances. The fauna inhabiting the picturesque terrain of Tarangire comprises lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons. Your initial night will be spent at the extensive camping facilities available. An enticing dinner will be given in the evening.

5 Days Tarangire Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

We will leave for Serengeti National Park as you have completed your delightful breakfast. Should fortune favor you, you might observe occasional wildlife along the trip, as we traverse the perimeter of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most visited national park, is a UNESCO World Heritage site recently designated as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, celebrated for its yearly herd movement and expanding wildlife population. We will partake in a picnic lunch on one of the kopjes. Our game drive will progress deeper into the park. Following the wildlife drive, we will advance to the Serengeti, where you will receive extensive camping amenities and a delectable dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

We will commence our day with an early morning wildlife drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is a dynamic environment, filled with the sounds of birds as the renewed sunshine begins to brighten the entire terrain. Your guide will examine the tracks on the ground to track predators. We will journey to the Comprehensive region situated near the crater’s rim. Dinner and adequate camping amenities will be supplied.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu

Few safari destinations offer an experience comparable to the Ngorongoro Crater, where wildlife watching is remarkably straightforward. Most animals stay within the crater because of its steep walls. This area is ideal for observing all members of ‘The Big 5’ in a single day. We will enjoy an exquisite picnic lunch within the crater. The unfilled caldera hosts hyenas, hippopotamuses, zebras, wildebeests, and a remarkable diversity of aquatic avifauna. Your guide will provide insights into the fauna, flora, and the identification of concealed animals. Following the late afternoon, we will transport you to Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night and have dinner.

Day 5: Transition from Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

On the final day of the vacation, we will encounter the splendor of Lake Manyara National Park. We will partake in an early breakfast to commence our game drive sufficiently early to observe the “Big Five” species. Situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park offers visually striking and diverse landscapes. Throughout the day, we will encounter the vegetation of the golden savannah, formidable rivers, and remarkable wildlife. We shall consume our picnic lunch in the center of the picturesque park. Soda Lake and the adjacent savannah sustain a very diversified environment, resulting in a wide variety of wildlife seen within the park. Lake Manyara National Park, home to nearly four hundred species of vibrant birds, including migratory varieties, is an ideal destination for birdwatchers. Lake Manyara hosts the renowned tree-climbing lions, formidable water buffalo, massive African elephants, towering giraffes, elegant impalas, and colossal hippos. In the late afternoon, we shall depart from Manyara and advance to Arusha to finalize our safari. Guests will appreciate the picturesque landscape as we go by Maasai bomas, baobab forests, and undulating savannah plains en route to Arusha.
