Day 1: Pickup and transport to Lake Manyara National Park.
Your guide will get you from your hotel in Arusha and greet you for your five-day Serengeti game safari. You will advance to Lake Manyara National Park to commence your animal observation activities. This national park is renowned for its unusual tree-climbing lions, diversified landscapes, and substantial herds of elephants. A significant portion of the national park is also included by Lake Manyara, which serves as an attraction within the park.
You will pause in Mto wa Mbu town to engage with the local community and observe regional arts and crafts before proceeding to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will check in and have lunch at your lodge. Day 2: Journey to Serengeti National Park
Breakfast will be provided at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti National Park to engage in further wildlife observation while traversing the expansive savannah plains in pursuit of the Big Five: elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and buffaloes. After checking in at your lodge in the national park, you will eat lunch in preparation for an afternoon wildlife drive.
Driving in Serengeti National Park will be enjoyable as you seek various wildlife species, including giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, kudu, dik-dik, and hyenas. Following the afternoon game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation at Osinon Camps and Lodges.
Day 3: Entire day in Serengeti National Park
Your day will commence with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park, followed by morning and afternoon game drives within the park. You will traverse the savannah grasslands in pursuit of the national park, observing wildlife species including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, waterbucks, kudu, dik dik, cheetahs, giraffes, impalas, and hyenas, among others. Lunch will be served following your morning wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park.
Post-lunch, you will participate in an additional game drive to seek various wildlife species in Tanzania’s oldest national park. The national park offers stunning landscapes and vistas of a diverse terrain that hosts around 4,000 lions, along with numerous other wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation, similar to the previous day at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 4: Journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
On the fourth day of your five-day Serengeti wildlife safari, you will enjoy breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During your safari, you will explore the world’s largest dormant caldera while seeking wildlife species, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, which inhabit the Ngorongoro Crater. You will drop 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will appreciate the stunning vistas on your wildlife drive.
During your game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, you will observe flamingos along the beaches of Lake Magadi, as well as hippos. Additional wildlife species observable in the crater during a safari encompass cheetahs, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hyenas, warthogs, waterbucks, and elands, among others.
